Our philosophy

We put together a unique work-out routine for each clients’ specific needs. Clients are able to schedule sessions at their most convenient time, and since our clients are trained individually they will not need to worry about competition with other clients. We make sure all of our clients have perfect form for each exercise in order to prevent injuries, increase strength, and improve current fitness level.

At Total Form Fitness White Plains we believe our trainers act as a team. If one of our trainers happens to be sick on one day, another trainer will work with the clients of the sick trainer. In addition, there is no risk in coming to Total Form Fitness White Plains for your first session.  The first session is a free and it is an easy way for anyone to check out our gym.  During the first session we do our best to assess your current fitness level.  We also wish to help you better understand how Total Form Fitness White Plains Operates and how we can help you accomplish any of your fitness and Post Rehab goals.

Building a Base

 

Our trainers will indentify clients' weaknesses, and these areas will be improved by increasing clients’ flexibility, strength, and endurance.

Develop Strength and Condition

 

We will add to the base that was established in Phase 1. In this stage, our trainers will add resistance and emphasize progression to elevate clients' overall fitness level.

Range of Motion (R.O.M.)

 

Clients will be pushed to workout out harder than ever before. Work-outs will combine phases 1 and 2 to maximize our clients’ strength, flexibility, and reduce clients' body composition (body fat). Clients will notice a decrease in their recovery time, an increase in their range of motion, and an increase in their performance.

Elite Training

 

Clients, in this phase, are physically strong High School, Collegiate, and Professional athletes. Our trainers develop sports specific workouts to help these clients maintain their high level of fitness. These workouts stimulate fast twitch fibers for athletes who seek power and explosiveness. Slow twitch muscles are also triggered for our high level endurance athletes.

Leo Lopes

About Leo

 Leo founded Total Form Fitness in 2007. As the owner of the gym, Leo oversees the gym and works as a trainer. He has 18 years of experience as a trainer and has trained people of all ranges including high school and collegiate athletes.

Prior to working as a trainer, Leo followed his dream of doing Judo in the Olympics. He trained at the Olympic training facility in Lake Placid and was ranked as high as 4th in the country at Judo.

However, after suffering from a knee injury, Leo was forced to quit Judo and began his work as a physical fitness trainer. Currently, Leo focuses most of his time working at Total Form Fitness while he also volunteers to teach Judo to underprivileged children in Mount Vernon.

Douglas Zani

About Douglas

Douglas joined Total Form Fitness in 2009. Doug moved when he was ten years-old to America from Brazil. In America, Doug excelled at soccer.

He made his high school varsity team as a 7th grader and in 2006 Doug led Mount Vernon Soccer to their first winning season in ten years.

Soon after graduating from Mount Vernon, Doug finished playing soccer and dedicated himself to working as a physical fitness instructor. He received his national certification to become a trainer in 2008 and in 2009 Doug joined the Total Form Fitness staff. As the manager at Total Form Fitness, Doug has been one of the hardest working trainers and closely works with all clients to achieve their fitness goals.

John Marsh

About John

John is a graduate from Bridgewater State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.

As a student at Bridgewater State, John received All-American honors as a wrestler and placed 5th in Division III national championships.

John has his CPT and CSCS as a personal trainer, and he volunteers as an assistant wrestling coach for Edgemont High School. John currently serves as a manager of TFF.

Brian Beaudette

About Brian

Brian joined the Total Form Fitness team in 2016 fall relocating from Massachusetts. He is a lifelong hockey player, highlighting his career with two national championships at the semi-professional level. Brian is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science and Health Fitness. Upon graduation, Brian served as the Head of Hockey Performance at a sports specific training facility in Massachusetts working with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes on and off the ice. Prior to Total Form, he worked as a Health and Fitness Specialist in a Corporate Fitness center. Brian is a nationally certified personal trainer.

Josh Graham

About Josh

Joined our TFF family 2018. Josh has been a trainer for 7 years and before previously starting at total form fitness he worked at Dutchess community college for four years as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and supervisor. Upon graduating High School josh was a highly recruited Football player at the Division one level. Josh ended up going to Wittenberg University in Ohio to study Neuroscience and Run track and field. Upon finishing his first year at Wittenberg University, Josh transferred to Suny Oswego becoming pro in 2017 with Track and Field and starting his graduate degree in Cognitive Science. Josh will attempt to qualify for the up coming Olympics in Tokyo for track and field.

About Willian

 Joined Total Form Fitness in 2020, is from  Poços de Caldas, MG, Brazil, graduated in Chemical Engineering by UNIFAE in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  He is AFFA certified in personal training. His passion for fitness began through his love of sports where he played soccer, volleyball and basketball for the school Varsity team. His approach to fitness emphasizes age-appropriate programming with a specific focus given to cardiovascular and strength training in combination with balance and flexibility training. He establishes long-term client interactions with the goal of integrating exercise and optimal wellness into the demands of daily life.

About João

Joined Total Form Fitness in 2018 João discovered his passion for fitness at the age of 9 when he was first introduced to the game of volleyball. His focus and dedication led him to join the Brazilian National Youth Volleyball League at only 14 years old as a setter . In 2016 he moved to the US and has expanded his passion of fitness towards exercise and helping others to achieve their goals. Joao joined Total Form Fitness in 2018, where he is able to help and challenge others to reach their goal. He's current a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.
