Leo Lopes
Leo founded Total Form Fitness in 2007. As the owner of the gym, Leo oversees the gym and works as a trainer. He has 18 years of experience as a trainer and has trained people of all ranges including high school and collegiate athletes.
Prior to working as a trainer, Leo followed his dream of doing Judo in the Olympics. He trained at the Olympic training facility in Lake Placid and was ranked as high as 4th in the country at Judo.
However, after suffering from a knee injury, Leo was forced to quit Judo and began his work as a physical fitness trainer. Currently, Leo focuses most of his time working at Total Form Fitness while he also volunteers to teach Judo to underprivileged children in Mount Vernon.
Douglas Zani
Douglas joined Total Form Fitness in 2009. Doug moved when he was ten years-old to America from Brazil. In America, Doug excelled at soccer. He made his high school varsity team as a 7th grader and in 2006 Doug led Mount Vernon Soccer to their first winning season in ten years.
Soon after graduating from Mount Vernon, Doug finished playing soccer and dedicated himself to working as a physical fitness instructor. He received his national certification to become a trainer in 2008 and in 2009 Doug joined the Total Form Fitness staff. As the manager at Total Form Fitness, Doug has been one of the hardest working trainers and closely works with all clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Willian Silva
Joined Total Form Fitness in 2020, is from Poços de Caldas, MG, Brazil, graduated in Chemical Engineering by UNIFAE in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is AFFA certified in personal training. His passion for fitness began through his love of sports where he played soccer, volleyball and basketball for the school Varsity team. His approach to fitness emphasizes age-appropriate programming with a specific focus given to cardiovascular and strength training in combination with balance and flexibility training. He establishes long-term client interactions with the goal of integrating exercise and optimal wellness into the demands of daily life.
João Jovem
Joined Total Form Fitness in 2018 João discovered his passion for fitness at the age of 9 when he was first introduced to the game of volleyball. His focus and dedication led him to join the Brazilian National Youth Volleyball League at only 14 years old as a setter . In 2016 he moved to the US and has expanded his passion of fitness towards exercise and helping others to achieve their goals. Joao joined Total Form Fitness in 2018, where he is able to help and challenge others to reach their goal. He's current a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.
Chris V.
Chris joined Total Form Fitness in 2019. Growing up close by in Westchester county, Chris grew up playing lacrosse from a young age and picked up football in high school where he graduated from Eastchester High in 2016. Straight out of high school, Chris knew that he wanted to be a personal trainer and had his eyes set on helping people reach their fitness potential, obtaining his USA Weightlifting (USAW) certification and National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) certification.
Cris P.
Cris joined Total Form Fitness in 2021.Cris moved when he was five years old to New York from Dominican Republic.
He has played sports all his life, including soccer, wrestling & lacrosse. He was on the varsity teams for all three sports in high school.
Soon after graduating from White Plains High School, Cris went on to study and play lacrosse at the division 2 & 3 collegiate level.
He received his national certification through NASM to become a trainer in 2020, and started his PT career at Hurricane Fitness, a private training studio in Harlem, NY.
Shortly after, Cris joined the Total Form family in 2021. His training specialty is functional bodybuilding, and he makes sure to adjust & tailor his programming to each client based on their lifestyle, goals and capabilities!
